Yes, its one minor downfall but in my case i’ve decided to leave it since im a righty and don’t see myself needing to use it often.

On top of that they included an integral upper/lower tension adjustment screw which allows the user to compensate for tolerance between the upper receivers and lower if needed. The Midwest Industries lower parts and enhanced drop-in trigger kit, which are designed for AR lowers, fit perfectly into the UIC-180 with no fitment issues. The placement of the ambi magazine release is great, allowing for easy operation with minimal adjustment from traditional handling, which proves especially useful in high-stress or competitive shooting environments for left handed users.
